| Autoimmune hemolytic anemia with diffuse alveolar hemorrhage: A case report and literature review |

Abstract We study the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune hemolytic anemia （AIHA）with diffuse alveolar hemorrhage by reporting a case and reviewing its related literature. A young male manifested as sore throat, fever, sauce-color urine, hypourocrinia, a decrease of hemoglobin and progressive dyspne. There was widespread pulmonary infiltration occurred on CT scan. The patient was diagnosed as acute autoimmune hemolytic anemia with alveolar hemorrhage and treat by continuous ventilator- assisted ventilation, glucocorticoid, human immune globulin, antibiotics, blood purification and so on. Than the patient get better and discharged. We realized alveolar hemorrhage for autoimmune hemolytic anemia, was a rare but fatal complications, progress is rapid, easy to be misdiagnosed. Early diagnosis,
treatment with enough glucocorticoid, human immune globulin and blood purification timely can improve its prognosis greatly.
